Who Should Walk You Down the Aisle?
You’ve imagined it a thousand times by now—and if you haven’t, you’re lying—the walk down the aisle. Your hair and makeup are done to perfection, your dress properly fluffed with your veil delicately draped over the train, and your bouquet rests gently in your hands. You’re ready to go! The final walk you make as a single woman. The music changes, and that’s your cue, so you start walking. Who do you imagine is walking down with you?
Traditionally, as the bride, it would be your father to walk you down and give you away, but here at Drakewood Farm we are seeing more and more alternatives to this longstanding custom. Just this last year we have seen brides (and grooms!) walked down by all kinds of other important figures in our couples' lives.

So, when thinking about the lineup to walk down the aisle on your special day, consider who you really want by your side in those final moments. The person (or pet!) to give you away as you start this next beautiful part of your journey.
