Traditionally, as the bride, it’s your father who would escort you down the aisle and give you away. However, here at Drakewood Farm, we’re noticing a growing trend where couples are embracing alternative, personalized wedding ceremony traditions. In fact, just last year, we saw brides (and grooms!) choosing to be walked down the aisle by a variety of important figures in their lives—family, friends, and even step-parents—creating a truly unique and memorable moment at our wedding venue.
